Primedia Online is proud to announce the launch of Juice Content – a new business unit dedicated to the provision of bespoke “made to order” content intended for resale and syndication.
This new service will include the provision of topical content for use across online and mobile platforms.
“As publisher of one of South Africa’s most established web portals, iafrica.com, we understand the importance of fresh and unique content,” said CEO of Primedia Online Tanja Lategan, explaining the reasoning behind the new unit.
“Through Primedia Online’s interaction with both agencies and the publishers we represent, combined with our experience as a publisher, it is clear that there is an increasing need for unique content,” she added.
“This need has prompted our decision to create a dedicated content unit. We aim to use our unique position as representative to a growing network of publishers, as well as our own in-house writing and editing skills, to provide bespoke content that suits the needs of a wide range of clients – be it sports news, music/movie reviews, health information, relationship advice or celebrity gossip.
“For brands and publishers using the syndicated content, their sites will have greater depth and immediacy leading to more traffic to the site and ultimately higher ad revenues without the overheads of additional staff intake.
“Similarly, the use of content across numerous channels has become an increasingly important means of communication for brands, and we want to position ourselves as the content production partner of choice for entities that don’t necessarily have the desire or the ability to produce content in-house. With more than 10 years of experience in producing content, we are extremely well positioned to do this,” continued Lategan.
Juice Content will be comprised of iafrica.com’s well-seasoned team of journalists, as well as some of the best up-and-coming journalists and writers in South Africa, with account management and administrative support provided by a dedicated content salesperson for which they are currently recruiting.
