Lovers of Android, and specifically Samsung, will be excited to learn that there are eight new devices heading to South Africa.  The market in South Africa is only just learning about Smart Phones and their abilities, and as the cost for these devices slowly drop, more and more people will be getting their hands on them.  This is good news for South Africa as most Internet browsing is done on mobiles.  It will definitely open a whole new world of possibilities for so many people.

Over the course of the year, Samsung will bring us:

1.  Samsung Galaxy S II
2.  Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
3.  Samsung Wave 578
4.  Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi
5.  Samsung Galaxy Ace
6.  Samsung Galaxy Fit
7.  Samsung Galaxy Gio
8.  Samsung Galaxy mini

All are exciting devices that offer new technology for us to use, which include Wifi Music Players, Tabs, and brand new smart phones.

Their Galaxy range is fantastic though. Here’s hoping the company delivers Android updates regularly.

Your gonna love them honestly. I am now in the UK after living in South Africa for 3 years. I got a galaxy fit for R890. You are permanently connected to the internet and its linked to gmail and gtalk so you always know when your friends are online. They use minimal data for chatting to your friends so should save money on airtime. Its android – mine is using gingerbread 2.3.4 so you always add facebook apps to extend your fun, I will be getting my fiancee one when she visits at Christmas…YAY!
